The author, Megan Pasonick, was born Megan Marie Marshall in Milwaukee, WI, and lived there as a child. She learned to read early, and could never have enough books in her pile! Growing up, she also lived in Georgia and California, and attended East Coweta High School in Newnan, GA. She graduated from Monache High School in Porterville, CA. After high school, she attended California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, CA, where she played on the soccer team, and made lifelong friends. It remains one of her very favorite places to visit! She believes that any problem she may face can be solved while admiring the view from “the cross” on the top of the mountain by the CLU white rocks. After her family moved to PA, she studied at King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, and graduated with a B.S. degree in Psychology. Megan lives there now with her husband, Andy and their pets, Simba and Princess Fiona.
